The Republic of Malta is an island country located in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea, consisting of several islands such as Malta, Gozo and Comino. Among them, Comino Island is a bird sanctuary and a nature reserve. Known as the heart of the Mediterranean, it is known as the back garden of Europe. Malta is the most inhabited island, named after the main island of the islands. The island’s coastline is roughly rugged, with ports, bays, creeks, sandy beaches and rocky bays jagged, but no mountains or rivers.
