Hong Kong Study Abroad Immigration Scheme

Program Introduction

By enrolling in a full-time university in Hong Kong, the applicant obtains a study visa, and his/her spouse and children under the age of 18 can apply for Hong Kong temporary resident status, and are employed by a Hong Kong enterprise within the next 7 years after graduation, and the whole family can also obtain a Hong Kong Identity Card and a SAR passport

Application Prerequisite

Be at least 18 years old
Holders of Mainland/overseas college degree or above
Good English skills
No criminal record or bad entry record

Regarding the eligibility of student visa applications, mainlanders can apply for a student visa if they meet two points:

The applicant holds an acceptance letter from the school certifying that the rate of admission has been obtained.
Applicants are not required to be able to cover their tuition, living expenses and accommodation expenses through work or public expenses.

Application Procedure

Prepare the documents
Submit your application for school
Apply for an entrance interview
Obtain a letter of admission and pay a retention fee
Submit your application to the Immigration Department for review.
Apply for the Hong Kong Resident Identity Card for the whole family
Submit the dependent application information to the Immigration Department
After graduation, apply for IHANG to work in Hong Kong
After working in Hong Kong for 7 years, the family obtained a Hong Kong passport.
