UK Innovator Visa

Program Introduction

The Innovator visa pathway is for experienced entrepreneurs who wish to set up or run a business in the UK. Applicants are required to demonstrate an innovative, viable and scalable business idea with credentials recognized by an accredited body. Subject to certain exceptions, applicants should have at least £50,000 available for their business investment.

Application Prerequisite

Eligibility (minimum 2 requirements):
- At least £50,000 has been invested in the business and is actively driving forward the further completion of the applicant’s previously recognised business plan
- The number of corporate customers has at least doubled in the last 3 years and is currently higher than the average number of customers of other UK businesses offering similar major products or services
- Engaged in significant research and development activities and has applied for IP protection in the UK
- Generated a minimum annual gross income of £1 million for the last full year covered by its account
- The minimum annual gross income generated in the last full year covered by its account is £500,000, of which at least £100,000 comes from overseas exports
- The equivalent of at least 10 full-time jobs were created for resident workers
- The equivalent of at least 5 full-time jobs has been created for resident workers with an average annual salary of at least £25,000

Other conditions :
- 18 years of age or older
- From outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland
- English reading, writing and listening skills with CEFR B1 level / bachelor’s degree or above
- Proof that you have sufficient funds to stay in the UK
- Bank account deposits must be above £945 for 90 days prior to visa application

Application Procedure

Initial consultation to assess the applicant’s background and answer relevant questions
Arrange in-person consultations to analyze required matters in detail and provide immigration advice
Prepare business plans and related documents, provide mock interview training, and screen the most appropriate authorized institutions based on the applicant’s industry background
Once the documents are in place, submit the application form and documents to the UK Immigration Service (Normal approval time 15 working days, express certificate 5 working days)
The initial visa is approved for a period of 3 years, after which the applicant is required to log in to the UK within one specified month to receive a UK identity card
