Founded in 1963, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is a forward-looking comprehensive research university with a global vision and a mission to combine tradition with modernity, and to bring together China and the West. CUHK teachers and students hail from all around the world. CUHK graduates are connected worldwide through an extensive alumni network.
The Chinese University of Hong Kong began to recruit mainland undergraduates in 1998, and so far, more than 5,300 mainland students have studied undergraduate courses at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The school recruits mainland college students through the unified enrollment plan for ordinary colleges and universities across the country, and has been included in the early admission batch by the Ministry of Education. Gaokao candidates do not need to apply directly to the school, but only need to fill in the voluntary application in batches in advance after the score of the college entrance examination. The school does not hold an interview, and the admission is based on the score of the college entrance examination (excluding bonus points). For filling in the volunteer date, please check with the admissions office of the province or city you belong to (the national standard code for the unified admissions colleges recruited by our school in the Mainland is 81002).
