From June 13, 2022, the naturalization threshold for home purchase investment will be raised from US$250,000 to US$400,000

Application Procedure

Opening a bank account: An account with a Turkish bank should be opened in the name of the investor.
Making an Investment: Making an investment transaction that meets a specified amount. (i.e. transfer of real estate warrant deeds, cash deposits, government bonds/share purchases, etc.)
Applying for a short-term residence permit: Applicants must have a valid short-term residence permit at the time of filing for citizenship. However, short-term residence permits do not require the applicant to travel to Turkey to apply in person and can be obtained at Turkish embassies abroad. A short-term residence permit does not require the applicant to have a specific number of days of residence in Turkey.
Apply for Citizenship: Once a short-term residence permit is granted, the applicant can submit an application for citizenship immediately, without the need for an actual presence or interview during the application process. The whole process from application to citizenship takes about 3-6 months to complete.
